If you’re anything like me, and you have a in-built drive to write songs, you will also know the nagging frustration of NOT making time to get your fix. In the madness of today’s world you’re lucky if you can find a minutes peace to let your creativity trickle, let alone flow. That is why I’m really excited to share this oppotunity with you!
From the beginning we knew ‘La Grange de Chatelus’ had everything to kickstart anyone‘s creativity. Deep in the heart of forgotten France you’ll find the peace and quiet to unwind and unlock your creativity and you’ll meet other writers looking to improve their craft, and make new collaborations that could be the start of something magical.
The fact is, whether you’ve been writing songs for years or you’re just starting out, the most important thing is to just DO IT!
So...what's included?
- Collaborate with like-minded writers in small focused groups
- Unwind by the pool, take country walks and unlock your creativity
- Retain all the rights to your songs
- Evening showcases and group feedback/sharing
- Live recordings of your playback sent to you after the retreat
- Ensuite bedrooms, based on two to four sharing
- All meals freshly prepared (dietary requirements catered for with prior notice)
- Social Activites: BBQ, Local Bar, River Beach trip, Live music night (some activites are subject to the weather conditions)

Richard Watts is a singer/songwriter/musician who has been writing songs from an early age. He has written, recorded and toured all over America and Europe with guitar legend Robin Trower and has colloborated on many other projects over the years. The most recent being Richard’s country pop duo ‘Retreat’, which acheived No.1 on the iTunes UK Country Chart with their first EP
